Batch Compare

 

The Batch Compare processing of tcVISION is available for IMS/DB, DL/I, VSAM, DB2, ADABAS, CA-IDMS, CA-Datacom and sequential files. tcVISION identifies the changed data by a comparison of the current data-source with a snapshot of the file created during the previous Batch Compare run. The changes applied since the last Batch Compare run will be propagated.

Read of the data snapshot
Indentification of changed data  
Processing of the meta data
Propagation of the changes
Implementation into the target database
