tcACCESS provides JDBC access to IBM Mainframe data and Applications

The system integration solution tcACCESS provides a very user-friendly way to access IBM mainframe data. Companies who use IBM WebSphere for their Internet / Intranet infrastructure can easily access any host data sources via the tcACCESS JDBC server. Therefore, no host knowledge is required. 

 

tcACCESS allows to access any host data with standard SQL commands, i.e. in addition to DB2 data it is even possible to access all other host data sources via JDBC. This includes VSAM, DL1, IMS/DB, Adabas, CA-Datacom/DB, CA-IDMS/DB etc.

 

tcACCESS contains a user-friendly administrator application for the system administrator which runs on a PC with MS-Windows. This facility allows the developers of Internet or client-server applications to analyze host data structures independently and without any host knowledge at all. tcACCESS provides features to automatically analyze the field structures of the existing legacy data and presents the structure information for the desired mainframe data clearly arranged for further processing. This eliminates the need for time consuming coordination effort between web developers and host experienced personel.
